Tamdil Lake offers an ideal place to be in the lap of nature be for any traveler. The nearest village to Tamdil Lake is Saitual (pronounced as Saituwal), around 85 km from the capital city, Aizawl. The only option is to hire a taxi or an Auto Rickshaw from Saitual for around. The church compound turns out to be a rather good viewpoint for the village. Tamdil lake was a good 25 minutes drive from Saitual.wetland covers an area of more than 300 sq km and covers a lot of thick vegetation around the lake. It is a perfect place to refresh one’s mind.
On arrival at Aizawl Airport /Railway Station from there, you will meet and assist by our
representative and now you will ready to “Hit the Queen of Hills”. Drive to the hotel on

Today now ready to drive toward Tamdil Lake (80km 03-04 hrs journey) then visit
Tamdil Lake. It is the largest natural lake in Mizoram and surrounded by the thick forest.
It is home to wide species of trees plants and animals. Drive back to Aizawl for an
overnight hotel.
