The Andaman Islands are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. These roughly 300 islands are known for their palm-lined, white-sand beaches, mangroves and tropical rainforests. Coral reefs supporting marine life such as sharks and rays make for popular diving and snorkeling sites. Indigenous Andaman Islanders inhabit the more remote islands, many of which are off-limits to visitors. There are 572 islands in the territory having an area of 8,249 km2 (3,185 sq mi). Of these, about 38 are permanently inhabited. The islands extend from 6° to 14° North latitudes and from 92° to 94° East longitudes. The Andamans are separated from the Nicobar group by a channel (the Ten Degree Channel) some 150 km (93 mi) wide. The highest point is located in North Andaman Island (Saddle Peak at 732 m (2,402 ft)). The Andaman group has 325 islands which cover an area of 6,170 km2 (2,382 sq mi) while the Nicobar group has only 247 islands with an area of 1,765 km2 (681 sq mi). The Andaman Islands are home to the Sentinelese people, an uncontacted people. The Sentinelese are the only people currently known to not have reached further than a Paleolithic level of technology.
On arrival at Port Blair within the morning, our representatives are there to greet you and transfer you we'll proceed for a Port Blair town tour that has the Fisheries repository (Aquarium) - exhibits species of marine life peculiar to the islands, social science repository - displays social group essential and artefacts', military service vivarium (Samudrika) - provides an honest retrospect of the history, shells, Corals marine life, geographics and anthropology of those islands and also the Water Sports advanced. Later, we'll be visiting the monument - the Cellular Jail and see the heroic tale of the Indian Freedom buckle down and do the sunshine and Sound Show that surface among the advanced itself. Later Return back to the hotel for dinner & an overnight stay at Port Blair.
oday after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Bompoka Island( 380 km, 11-13 hour journey). The Island is located 3.5 km east from Teressa. The island has dense forest and some of the portion is covered with grass. There is thick coconut palm growth on the shores around the island Bompoka Island. On the way You can pay your visit to Ramzoo, Changwa and Tloi Village. Later In the evening reach Hotel at Bompoka for dinner and overnight stay.
Today after breakfast, check out from the hotel and You will pay your full day visit to Bompoka Island The Island had 2 villages: Poahat at the north, and Yatkirana at the south. The both the villages are abandoned. The former villagers still maintain Coconut, and Tuber Crops. You can enjoy Beach Bumming , Island Hopping, Museum Trail, Sea-Walking, and soaking up the sun is the number one Priority in the all. Later in the evening you will be transferred to Nancowry which is at the distance of 46 Km from Bompuka. On arrival at Nancowry, check in to the hotel at Nancowry for Dinner and overnight stay.
Today after breakfast, You will pay your full day visit to Nancowry Island Sighseeing:- This island exist of 18 villages that is for different tribes like as: Tapang, althea, Al- Hit – Touch/ balu Basti, Champin and Ltoi. It includes 4 taluks:- Nancowrie taluk,Kamorta taluk Teressa and Chowra taluk,Katchal taluk.In the evening you can pay your visit to Kamorta Island: Kamorta Island((14 miles north to Nancowry ) It is an island in the Nicobar Islands and it is adjoined to Nancowry Island. Where you can visit Kalatapu:- Kamorta or Kalatapu is a village on the Kamorta Island, Later return back to Hotel at Nancowry for dinner and overnight stay.
