Meghalaya is the northeastern state of India The Sanskrit meaning of Meghalaya means “the abode of clouds“ . The state is covered with high mountains and scenery vallies. Shiling is the capital of Meghalaya. The state is covered with lush forests, pines, sals, and bamboo trees. The state is the house of many Tibeto-Burman (Garos) or Mon-Khmer Khasis. English and Assamese are sate’s official languages. Other languages spoken in the state include are Nepali, Haijong, Bengali, Assamese, and Hindi. Meghalaya is rich in tribal culture The state has a rich and prestige culture. People like drinking and dancing on religious ceremonies, social functions, and marriages in their traditional costumes.
Arrival at Guwahati airport or Station, received by our representative and drive to Guwahati hotel. On arrival Check in to the hotel take some rest then t proceed to Nameri National Park. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Dirang.Enroute we visit Orchid century at Tippy were more than 500 different species are available. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Tawang. Enroute we cross Sella Pass, the Highest Motorable Road in Eastern Himalaya at about 14000ft above the Sea level and Jaswant Garh (China – Indo War Memorial). Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, we visit Tawang Monastery, the 400yrs old, 6th birthplace of Dalai Lama, Local Market, Craft Centre and Ani Gompa (Nanery). Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
The morning after breakfast proceeds to Guwahati airport to board the flight for onward destination.
