Matheran is a hill station, near Mumbai, in the west Indian state of Maharashtra. It’s known for its mild climate and well-preserved colonial architecture. Motor vehicles are banned and many visitors arrive by narrow-gauge railway on the 1907 Neral–Matheran Toy Train. The Panorama Point lookout offers views across the mountains of the Western Ghats. Louisa Point has views of waterfalls and the ancient Prabal Fort. Nashik is an ancient holy city in Maharashtra, a state in western India. It’s known for its links to the “Ramayana” epic poem. On the Godavari River is Panchavati, a temple complex. Nearby, Lord Rama was thought to have bathed at Ram Kund water tank, today attended by Hindu devotees. Shri Kalaram Sansthan Mandir is an ancient shrine to Rama, while Rama and Sita are said to have worshipped at Sita Gufaa caves.
In the morning, leave from Mumbai and proceed towards Matheran. Upon arrival in Matheran, take a horse/ hand cart/ walk to the top. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. In the afternoon, take rest and go for a walk in the evening. Stay overnight at the hotel in Matheran.

After breakfast in the morning, leave by road from Matheran and get transferred to the hotel in Nashik. In the afternoon, explore the sights and sounds of Nashik. The places that you will visit include Ramkund, the bathing tank in the heart of Nasik’s old quarters, where hundreds of pilgrims arrive daily to bathe and pray. Other places that you will visit include the Kala Rama Temple, which is just a short walk uphill, east of Ramkund. By evening, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast in the morning; embark on a full-day sightseeing tour to the famous Trimbakeshwar Temple. Trimbakeshwar is one of the most sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The waters of the Godavari River run into the Gangadwar bathing tank, whose waters are said to have the power to wash earthly sins. You can also try making the 4-hour return hike to the Brahmagiri Hill. By evening, return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
In the morning, after breakfast, check out of the hotel and get transferred to the airport.
