The state is bordered by Nagaland to the north, Mizoram to the south and Assam to the west; The capital of Manipur is Imphal. The primary official language of Manipur is MeiteilonSituated at an elevation of 790 meters above the sea level, the state of Manipur is wedged between hills from all sides. The climate of the State is salubrious. The temperature ranges from sub-zero to 36°C. Manipur, being the one of the most important cities of India, is well connected to most of the other cities of the Country, by highways, railways, and airways.
On arriving at Tulihal Airport, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to the hotel for check-in. After getting freshen-up, you will be taken to the local market in the evening where you can buy some local products. Once done with exploring the local market of the city, head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
In the morning, after having breakfast head to the Shaheed Minar which is a tall monument in Bir Tikendrajit Park that commemorates the high-spirited martyrs who fought the British during the Anglo-Manipuri War in the year 1891. Later, head to the Manipur State Museum where you will witness the collection of Manipuri culture, lifestyle, and wildlife. Taking a walk in the museum you will come across other artifacts that are displayed in the museum including gold-plated human mask, tribal ornaments, archaeological discoveries, smoking pipes and a lot more.After exploring the museum, head to the Manipur Zoological Garden, where you can experience the perfect balance of wild and nature. Also, you will get to see approx 400 beautiful animal species including Flying Squirrel, Slow Loris, Leopard Cat, Himalayan Bear and more. Once done with exploring the attractions, head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
In the morning after having breakfast, head to the Keibul Lamjao National Park which is the only floating park in the world. Visiting the park, you will also get to witness Sangai which is the state animal of Manipur. Apart from this, you will even spot other animals including brow-antlered deer, hog deer, sambar, muntjac, musk deer and more.
Later, head to the Loktak Lake and Sendra Island where you can sit and relax amid the rejuvenating atmosphere or even get indulged in a boat ride that will give you the experience to cherish for the lifetime. Next, you will head to Bishnupur, where you can explore the Vishnu Temple which is one of the oldest brick temples which was built in the year 1467 in a fusion of the architectural styles of both Hindus and Chinese. Enroute Imphal, you will visit Nambol which is a Japanese War Memorial and yet another major tourist attraction in Manipur.On arriving Imphal, head to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
In the morning, after having breakfast, head to the Imphal airport to board a flight for the onward journey.End of the trip and services.
