Loleygaon is a small Lepcha village with a population of about 5000. It is situated in the extreme end of a Himalayan ridge. It is located at a distance of 24 km from Lava, at an altitude of 1,675 meters. It comes under the Kalimpong district of West Bengal.
Kalimpong is an east Indian hill town in the Himalayan foothills of West Bengal. Perched on a ridge above the Teesta River, it’s home to colonial-era buildings like MacFarlane Memorial Church, named after a Scottish missionary. South, the hilltop Durpin Monastery, or Zang Dhok Palri Phodang, contains sacred Buddhist scriptures. Deolo Park has landscaped gardens and offers views of the town and surrounding hills.
Arrival in Kalimpong meet and greet our local representative. Drive in a vehicle transfer to lava (around 32kms / 02hrs). It is a small hill station in the eastern Himalayas.
After lunch to visit the lattice local sightseeing covering Ratanarishi Bihar Buddhist Gumpha, Neera Interpretation Center, Chhangi Falls. Dinner and overnight stay in Lava.
After morning breakfast transfer to Loleygaon. It is a viewable village in the eastern Himalayas and is famous for its natural beauty. Lolegaon sightseeing covers the Heritage Forest and surrounding areas. Free evening to see the beauty of nature. Overnight in Loligaon.
After morning breakfast check out from the Lolegaon hotel and drive to Kalimpong and return home with sweet memories of the tour.
