Kaziranga National Park is located in Asam the state of India. Kaziranga National Park is the most popular species is one-horned rhinoceros in India. Located in the Golaghat and Nagaon district of Assam. In the year of 1985 UNESCO give certification to the World Heritage Site. Kaziranga national park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an Important Bird Area (IBA).
In Kaziranga National park different types of species are there. But most popular species is one-horned Rhino which almost defines the area, the park also offers pleasant surprises to tourists as they spot Swamp deer, elephants, wild buffalos, some few animals like Chinese pangolins, Bengal foxes, gibbons, civets, sloth bears, leopards, and flying squirrels that can be spotted here. The park is also the home of the Indian tiger and it is a tiger reserve.
You can opt for safari rides like jeep safari or elephant safari in the park in either jeeps or SUVs and this is the best way to get around the park. Elephant rides can be arranged and they have to be booked in advance as they are popular. Kaziranga is the best place full of excitement and its the best Assam offers.
