The second Day drives to Katra and proceeds to a local sightseeing tour, visit “Vaishno
Devi Temple (14 kms) on way by walk/pony/helicopter service on your own. You may
enjoy Sight seen like Baan Ganga, Ardh kanwari Temple, Garbh Jun Gufa, Bhawani
Bhawan, Bhairav Nath Temple, etc. on your own and after Vaishno Devi Darshan back to
Katra. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Third-Day proceeds to Shiv Khori thus denotes Shiva's cave. This is a natural cave that
is about 200 meters long, one meter wide and two to three meters high and contains a self
made lingam, which according to the people is unending. The first entrance of the cave is
wide that 300 devotees can be accommodated at a time. Its cavern is spacious to
accommodate a large number of people. The inner chamber of the cave is smaller.
The passage from the outer & inner chamber is the low and small, one spot it divides
itself into two parts. One of these is believed to have led to the Kashmir where Swami
Amarnath cave is located. It is now closed as some sadhus who dared go to ahead never
returned. To reach the sanctum sanctorum, one has to stoop low, crawl or adjust his body
sideward. And this is a naturally created image of Lord Shiva, about 4 meters high, is
visible. The cave abounds with other natural objects with Goddess Parvati, Ganesha and
Nandigan. The cave roof is etched with snake formations, and the water trickles through

these on Shiva Lingam. Pigeons are also seen here like Swami Amar Nath cave which
presents good omens for pilgrimages dinner and overnight stays at Katra hotel.

Katra - Patnitop – Patnitop sightseeing
Fourth Day drive to Patnitop sightseeing (85KM, 03 HR). In the evening drive back to
Katra. Dinner and overnight stay at Patnitop.
Nathatop after a short trek from Patnitop. The hill station is covered snow during winters
there by enhancing its beauty two times. One can happily go skiing in these mountains.
Nathatop is famous for paragliding and sometimes people from different parts of the state
travel to experience a beautiful place. One gets an excellent and clear view of the
Himalayas from the peak of these hills. It has an altitude of about 2711m.
Nathatop has a variety of road side food vendors who sell yummy delicacies food to fill
the bellies of the visitors coming there. It has a pleasant climate and is fun to hang out at.
It is a good place to visit nature lovers and those who love to sit quietly in one place and
enjoy the serenity of a place.
It is a peaceful place away from the fast-moving lives of the city. Pir Panjal Mountains,
when visited during winters, are filled with snow all over and are a treat for the eyes!
Snow is replaced by lush green grass in summers. Dinner and overnight stay at Patnitop
hotel.

Last Day drive to Jammu Railway Station / Airport. It takes time (03 hours, 110 km)
