Arrival at Hyderabad

Arrive at Hyderabad the capital city of the state of Andhra Pradesh and a major center for
the technology industry. Our Representative will meet you from there and proceed to
Hotel Check into the Hotel and relax.

HYDERABAD

Today after breakfast set out on a lovely day for a city tour of the historic city of Old
Hyderabad. Visit the majestic Golkonda fort, the most magnificent fort has cultural
heritage of 400 years and is regarded as a place worth visiting. The other historical place
to visit in Hyderabad is the set of absolutely beautiful Qutub Shahi Tombs ensconced
against the lovely backdrop of the picturesque Ibrahim Bagh. It is the most authentic and
majestic display of Persian, Hindu, and Pathan architectural designs and the Birla temple.
Return to the hotel.

HYDERABAD – BIDAR – GULBARGA (APPROX 135 KMS 3 HRS)

After breakfast, leave by road for Gulbarga en-route visiting Bidar Fort, situated on a
Deccan plateau is more than 500 years old. Continue to Gulbarga, a rapidly urbanizing
city is well known for its many places of architectural, historical and religious
importance. Arrive and check into the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

GULBARGA – BIJAPUR (APPROX 165 KMS 4 HRS)

This morning after breakfast set out for a city tour of Gulbarga. It is called one of the Sufi
cities having famous religious places, like Khwaja Banda Nawaz Dargah and Ladle
Mashak. After visiting these religious places visit the Gulbarga Fort a fort built during
Bahmani rule. It has many domes like Hafth Gumbad (seven domes together) and Chor
Gumbad. Later you will then proceed to Bijapur one time capital of the Adil Shahi kings
(1489-1686). Bijapur is dotted with mosques, mausoleums, watchtowers, palaces,
fortifications, and the evergreen Gol Gumbaz. Arrive and check into the hotel.

BIJAPUR - BADAMI (APPROX 130 KMS 3.5 HRS)

After breakfast visits Bijapur city, taking a tour of the Gol Gumbaz, an architectural
marvel, Ibrahim Rauza Tomb which is a big attraction in Bijapur depicting elegance at its
best. Then visit Mithai and Asar Mahals, again a historic site. Bijapur has a good
collection of Deccan architecture one of it is The Citadel is now part of the modern-day
city with roads winding through the walls. Also, visit the Jumma Masjid which is a huge
mosque with great architectural design.
Later leave for Badami – The capital of the mighty Badami Chalukyas, but still remains
majestic. Arrive and relax.

BADAMI

After Breakfast, set out for a city tour of Badami visiting the Badami Cave – The local
cave temple, made up of two giant sandstones hills flank the placid lake waters of Lake
Agastya paint a stark picture set against an acrylic blue sky- creating an impression of
canvas in your minds and hearts. Then Visit Aihole Known as the cradle of temple
architecture. Thereafter proceed to visit Pattadakal about 10kms from Aihole is a
UNESCO inscribed World Heritage site. It is a village and an important tourist center.
Pattadakal is a center of Chalukya art and architecture, noted for its temples and
inscriptions. After a fulfilling day return to the hotel.

BADAMI – HAMPI (APPROX 150 KMS / 4 HRS)

Today after breakfast, leave for Hampi a wonderful mysterious almost magical land,
strewn with monolithic granite boulders, is a worthy backdrop to the great ruined city,
now fittingly a World Heritage site.
Arrive and check into the hotel.
Later in the afternoon visit Vittala Temple- A carved stone chariot stands in front of the
huge Vittala Temple site. Visit the Lotus Mahal, a part of Hampi’s Zenana enclosure is a
delicately designed pavilion that was supposedly the queen’s recreational mansion. The
Elephant Stables is a grand building with doomed chambers where the state elephants
once resided and the Agrological Museum is worth a visit for its quality collection of
sculptures from local ruins, fascinating coins and weapons of 16th century. Return to the
hotel.

HAMPI

After breakfast set out for a lot more of Hampi visiting the Virupaksha Living Temple, it
is the focal point of Hampi Bazar and one of the city’s oldest structures. Then enjoy a
splendid Coracle Ride also known as Dongi, is a bowl-shaped boat made of reed, saplings
and hide. It is one of the most thrilling boat rides complete with whirlpools, high currents,
and crocodiles. Return to the hotel in the evening, relax for the rest of the day. Overnight
at the Hotel.

HAMPI-GOA (APPROX 320 KMS/7HRS)

Today after early breakfast check out of the hotel to leave by road for Goa.
