Sultanpur Lodhi is one of the most Ancient Cities of India, estimated to be established around the 1st century AD. This city, in the period of the centuries, witnessed the ups and downs in terms of politics, religion, literature, trade, and commerce. Amritsar is a city in the northwestern Indian state of Punjab, 28 kilometers from the border with Pakistan. At the center of its walled old town, the gilded Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) is the holiest gurdwara (religious complex) of the Sikh religion. It’s at the end of a causeway, surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar tank (lake), where pilgrims bathe.

Itinerary

Day 01: Amritsar

On arrival at Amritsar Airport / Railway Station meet and Greet and transferred to the hotel in Amritsar. After fresh upstarts, your city tour with the blessings of Harmandir Sahib (also called Sri Darbar Sahib and Golden Temple) is not only a place of worship but a rallying center of the Sikh community. Also, visit Gurdwara Sahida Sahib (Gurudwara baba deep Singh Jee Sahid) after Darshan back to Hotel. Overnight stay in the Amritsar hotel.

Day 02: Amritsar - Sultanpur Lodhi- Departure

Sultanpur Lodhi Gurudwara Darshan Tour after Breakfast drive to Sultanpur Lodhi via Kapurthala, Sultanpur Lodhi is an old town in Kapurthala district of Punjab Guru Nanak Dev jee lived in Sultanpur Lodhi for several years. In this town lived his sister, Bibi Nanaki, and her husband, Bhai Jai Ram, Gurdwara Ber Sahib is situated on the bank of the rivulet Kali Bein, Guru Nanak Dev Jee performed his morning ablutions in the Bein and then sat under a ber (Zizyphus jujuba) tree to meditate.

Gurdwara Hatt Sahib, south of the old fortress-like serai, marks the spot where Guru Nanak worked as the custodian of Nawab Daulat Khan's provision stores.

Gurdwara Sant Ghat, on the bank of the Bein, is where Guru Nanak reemerged on the third day of his disappearance into the river near the site of Gurdwara Ber Sahib.

Later drive to Amritsar and transfer to Airport for your onward journey.
