The Andaman Islands are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. These roughly 300 islands are known for their palm-lined, white-sand beaches, mangroves and tropical rainforests. Coral reefs supporting marine life such as sharks and rays make for popular diving and snorkeling sites. Indigenous Andaman Islanders inhabit the more remote islands, many of which are off-limits to visitors. There are 572 islands in the territory having an area of 8,249 km2 (3,185 sq mi). Of these, about 38 are permanently inhabited. The islands extend from 6° to 14° North latitudes and from 92° to 94° East longitudes. The Andamans are separated from the Nicobar group by a channel (the Ten Degree Channel) some 150 km (93 mi) wide. The highest point is located in North Andaman Island (Saddle Peak at 732 m (2,402 ft)). The Andaman group has 325 islands which cover an area of 6,170 km2 (2,382 sq mi) while the Nicobar group has only 247 islands with an area of 1,765 km2 (681 sq mi). The Andaman Islands are home to the Sentinelese people, an uncontacted people. The Sentinelese are the only people currently known to not have reached further than a Paleolithic level of technology.
On arrival at Port Blair airport, meet our Andaman representative who assists while you take a transfer to the resort. On completing the check-in formalities, take some rest for the day. In the evening, we go to enjoy a stroll around the Carbyn's Cove beach and indulge in our favorite beach activity. Later, we view the history of the heroic freedom struggle which is brought alive in a moving Light & Sound Show at the Cellular Jail. Dinner & Overnight Stay at Hotel.
After breakfast proceed to Havelock Bharatpur Beach. Enjoy your afternoon at the World Famous Bharatpur Beach. Blessed with a rich marine life with corals and colorful fish this beach is very famous among the scuba divers. Not to miss the distant jungles, which add to the beauty of the island. The beach is like a perfect postcard beach which attracts a lot of young photographers. The beach is very famous for activities like snorkeling and scuba diving in Andaman. After breakfast proceed to the Red Skin Island Beach, This isn’t your typical Andaman beach with a huge stretch of sand and blue waters. It is more like mangrove extension with a very narrow beach strip. While you are visiting this beach you can head out to Jolly Buoy, which is closer to it is a favorite tourist hotspot. This beautiful island is famous for the coral which makes it a lot more favorite then the jolly buoy. Dinner & Overnight Stay at Hotel.
After breakfast check out from the hotel. Our representative will drop you at Port Blair airport /railway station to catch onwards your flight/train & return to home with sweet memories of Andaman Holidays Tour.
