Overview

Delhi, India’s capital territory, is a massive metropolitan area in the country’s north. In Old Delhi, a neighborhood dating to the 1600s, stands the imposing Mughal-era Red Fort, a symbol of India, and the sprawling Jama Masjid mosque, whose courtyard accommodates 25,000 people. Nearby is Chandni Chowk, a vibrant bazaar filled with food carts, sweets shops, and spice stalls.

Amritsar is a city in the northwestern Indian state of Punjab, 28 kilometers from the border with Pakistan. At the center of its walled old town, the gilded Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) is the holiest gurdwara (religious complex) of the Sikh religion. It’s at the end of a causeway, surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar tank (lake), where pilgrims bathe.

Dharamshala is a city in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas, this hillside city is home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile. The Thekchen Chöling Temple Complex is a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism, while the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives houses thousands of precious manuscripts.

Chandigarh, the capital of the northern Indian states of Punjab and Haryana, was designed by the Swiss-French modernist architect, Le Corbusier. His buildings include the Capitol Complex with its High Court, Secretariat and Legislative Assembly, as well as the giant Open Hand Monument. The nearby Rock Garden is a park featuring sculptures made of stones, recycled ceramics, and industrial relics.

Uttarakhand, a state in northern India crossed by the Himalayas, is known for its Hindu pilgrimage sites. Rishikesh, a major center for yoga study, was made famous by the Beatles’ 1968 visit. The city hosts the evening Ganga Aarti, a spiritual gathering on the sacred Ganges River. The state’s forested Jim Corbett National Park shelters Bengal tigers and other native wildlife.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

On arrival at Delhi, airport/railway station meets and greets by our representative and drive to the hotel, check-in to the hotel. Day free at your leisure. Overnight stay at Delhi hotel.

Day 02: Delhi

Morning after breakfast proceeds for a tour of Old Delhi visit Red Fort - a marvel in red sandstone, built on the banks of River The Yamuna by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, Continue to the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque built from 1644-1658, during the reign of Emperor Shahjahan. You will end your morning tour on a cycle rickshaw through the famous Chandni Chowk Bazaars, once the shopping arcade of Mughal royalty. Later visit Mahatma Gandhi’s Memorial at Raj Ghat, where the Father of the Nation was cremated. (Red fort closed on Mondays). This afternoon’s tour of New Delhi starts at the Qutub Minar, whose construction began in 1200 AD by Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the first Muslim ruler of Delhi, but finally completed by his successors, Iltutmush and Firoz Shah, is believed to be erected as a tower of victory to signify the beginning of the Muslim rule in India. Later visit of Emperor Humayun Tomb Humayun mausoleum example of style and Mughal architecture. You will drive past India Gate, dedicated to the nation 10 years later by the then Viceroy, Lord Irwin. Another memorial, Amar Jawan Jyoti was added much later, after India’s independence and ending the day’s tour with a drive past of the Houses of Parliament and Presidential Palace, both grandiose masterpieces of the British Raj. Day 03: Delhi - Karnal

After Breakfast at Hotel, Check out and drive 125 KM/3 Hrs to Karnal, upon arrival check in the Hotel, Later visit National Dairy Research Institute. In evening back to Hotel, overnight stay at hotel in Karnal.

Day 04: Karnal – Patiala

After Breakfast drive, 125 Km / 3 Hrs to Patiala, upon arrival check in the Hotel, later visit a local village and Agriculture farm for different methods of farming, evening visit for local sightseeing of Patiala. Visit Qila Mubarak Complex the Qila Mubarak complex stands in the 10-acre ground in the heart of the city and contains the main palace or Qila Androon, the guesthouse or Ran Baas and the Darbar Hall. Sheesh, Mahal was built behind the Moti Bagh Palace. The paintings in two of it's well maintained, mirror-worked Patiala chambers are of Kangra and Rajasthani qalam, depicting the poetic visions of Keshav, Surdas and Bihari. Gurudwara Dukh Nivaran Sahib: This shrine is situated in what used to be the village of Lehal, now part of Patiala city. Overnight at the hotel in Patiala.

Day 05: Patiala – Bhatinda

After Breakfast, driver 155 Km/3-4 Hrs to Bhatinda, upon arrival check in the Hotel, later visit the local farm, Bathinda is one of the largest food grain and cotton markets in northern India. We will visit a few farmers and see their way of agriculture. Evening visit Damdama Sahib is situated in the village of Talwandi Sabo near Bhatinda. This is where Guru Gobind Singh stayed, also visit Mazaar of Haji Rattan. Overnight at a hotel in Bhatinda.

Day 06: Bhatinda – Ludhiana

After Breakfast, drive 145 Km/3-4 Hrs to Ludhiana, upon arrival check in the Hotel, today we will visit Punjab agriculture University, PAU is a state agricultural university in India. We will also visit Museum, One of the biggest agricultural universities in Asia, the museum was modeled after the famous Land Grant College of America. The museum building looks like one of the traditional houses in rural Punjab. Its long path, flanked on both sides by water channels makes for a lovely sight. Day 07: Ludhiana – Hoshiarpur

After breakfast drive 75 Km/ 2 hrs to Hoshiarpur, upon arrival check in the Hotel, today we will visit the farms with modern technology of Farming, in this area farmers, are having poly house farming, etc. evening back to Hotel, Overnight stay at hotel in Hoshiarpur.

Day 08: Hoshiarpur – Amritsar

After Breakfast, drive 110 Km/ 3 Hrs to Amritsar, upon arrival check in the Farmer’s Villa, today we will visit Zero Budget farming by Pingalwara Charitable society, it is 40 acres natural farming with no chemical and pesticide is used, In the evening visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. Day 09: Amritsar

After breakfast, start your city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple-the most important Sikh shrine, also known as Harimandir Sahib and Darbar Sahib. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- the place that reminds every Indian of the brutal and heartless massacre by British general Dyer. Visit Durgiana Temple. The afternoon is at your leisure, overnight stay at Amritsar hotel.

Day 10: Gobindgarh Fort

After breakfast in the morning, our representative will drive you to Gobindgarh Fort you are going to experience the beautiful and authentic art of Punjab, a perfect store in the perfect place of Gobindgarh Fort has been set up. Day 15: Dharamshala – Mcleodganj

Day 16: Dharmshala –Chandigarh (Distance 225 km 05 hours)

After breakfast in the morning, our representative will drive Dhamshala to Chandigarh (225km 05hr). check into the hotel and take some rest. Dinner and overnight stay at the Chandigarh hotel.

Day 17: Chandigarh-local - sightseeing

After breakfast proceeds to your city tour with Rock Garden which arts and objects made of industrial and urban which consist of various waste. It is situated in sector-1. Day 19: Chandigarh-Anandpur Sahib-Chandigarh

After breakfast at hotel proceed for full day sightseeing tour drive to Anandpur Sahib from Chandigarh. Sri kesgarh Sahib year 1664 by ninth guru, Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. It is located in the center of Anandpur Sahib. It was the place where Khalsa was born. Back to Chandigarh Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 20: Chandigarh - Amritsar

After breakfast check out from hotel and drive Chandigarh to Amritsar (225km 05-06hr).on reaching check into the hotel dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 21: Amritsar

The morning after Breakfast Visit Wagha Border, Jalliawala Bagh, Golden Temple and if time permits you can go for the local market to shop around. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 22: Amritsar - Haridwar (422km/ 08hrs.)

On arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, you will meet our representatives and then embark on a 07 hour’s drive to reach Haridwar. On arrival at Haridwar railway station, our representative will meet you there and now continue to drive to the hotel. Day 23: Haridwar – Rishikesh (22 km/01 hrs. journey)

Day 25: Rishikesh – Dehradun (46 km/02 hrs.)

After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and drive to dehradun. Arrival at dehradun check into the hotel. After refreshing yourselves with rest, you can head out to explore the area and interact with the locals and have local sightseeing of places like tibetan monastery, robert cave, sahastradhara, forest research center. The night will be spent in the dehradun hotel in preparation for the next day of adventure.

Day 26: Dehradun – Mussoorie (34 km/01 hrs.)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to mussoorie. Arrival at mussoorie checks into the hotel and take a rest. After freshen up you will go to the local sightseeing. Start your day to visit lal tibba. It is the highest point in Mussoorie that offers the fresh breathtaking view of the himalayan mountains. After a relaxing break at the lal tibba, we will take a scenic boat ride at mussoorie lake. Followed to visit a bhatta falls. Day 27: Mussoorie Sightseeing

The morning after breakfast enjoys a full day mussoorie sightseeing tour. Visit kempty falls. You can enjoy the water in this lovely waterfall. Later visit dhanaulti and surkanda devi temple. Return to mussoorie. Overnight stay at mussoorie.

Day 28: Mussoorie - Auli (169km/ 05hrs.)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards auli. En-route you will visit devprayag (confluence of river alaknanda and bhagirathi) and rudraprayag (confluence of river alaknanda and mandakini). Reach by evening. Day 29: Auli (Skiing)

Day 30: Auli – Dehradun (150km/05-06 hrs.)

After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and drive to dehradun. Arrival at dehradun check into the hotel. Day 31: Dehradun - Kausani (320km/10hrs)

Day 32: Kausani Sightseeing

In the morning, you can see the beautiful sunrise in the snow-capped himalayas. After breakfast, proceed to visit the mesmerizing beauty of kausani region. Visit anasakti ashram it is known as gandhi ashram, laxmi ashram, sumitranandan pant gallery, and kausani tea estate. In the evening return back to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 33: Kausani

In the morning after breakfast, you will visit bageshwar upon arrival visit bagnath temple, the temple was built in 1450 by kumaon ruler, laxmi chand, at the confluence of gomati and sarayu rivers. En-route also visits the baijnath temple which is located on the bank of river gomti, evening back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 34: Kausani – Almora (53km/02 hrs. Journey)

On this day after breakfast, we will take you to see the cultural heart of kumaon, almora. On reaching there you will check into a hotel. After taking some rest you can visit some local areas to experience the exquisiteness of Almora. After that dinner overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 35: Almora – Binsar (25km/01 hrs. Journey)

After breakfast, we will drive towards binsar and on arrival; we will transfer you to a hill resort. Later, we will proceed for the binsar wildlife sanctuary sight seen. Herein you can bask in the wilderness of the woods and after that, you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 36: Binsar Sightseeing

On this day early in the morning after breakfast, we will take you to the famous place shrines located in and around binsar like bineshwar mahadev temple and jageshwar temple complex. After lunch, you are free for local sight seen for enjoying some scenic spots of Binsar. The awe-inspiring vistas of various himalayan peaks like nanda devi, kedarnath, chaukhamba, trishul, panchchuli and nanda kot will be waiting to soothe your eyes to see that famous places. Day 37: Binsar – Delhi (421km/10 hrs. Journey)

After breakfast in the morning, you will drive back to delhi. On arrival, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station for your onward journey back home with sweet memories.
