Dadra and Nagar Haveli are a union territory and district in western India. It is composed of two separate geographical entities: Nagar Haveli, wedged between Maharashtra and Gujarat, and, 1 km to the northwest, the smaller enclave of Dadra, which is surrounded by Gujarat. Silvassa is a town on the Daman Ganga river in western India and the Capital city of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. This was ruled by the Portuguese from 1783 until the mid-20th century. Located on River Daman Ganga banks, Swaminarayan Temple is a perfect example for architectural splendor.

Hirwa Van Gardens (2km)
It is 2km (20min) from Silvassa. Hirwa Van Gardens are appreciated by visitors due to its lush greenery. The gardens are a great picnic spot for visitors. Waterfalls and gardens win the heart of the guests. There also are beautiful flowers in the garden that are unique.
Dadar and Nagar Wildlife sanctuary (13km)
It is 13km (30min)to Van garden. Lion Safari Wildlife Park is a part of Dadra & Nagar Haveli Wildlife Sanctuary. There are specially used safari vehicles. The Lion Safari visit for an initiative made to provide shelter for the Asiatic lion (Panthera Leo). Return to Silvassa dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast visit to Lady of Piety Church. Silvassa is dotted with numerous architectural splendors, one is the Our Lady of Piety Church. The church is beautiful and features exquisite internal and external archway.

It is 21km from Khanvel Located on Silvassa Bhilad road, adjacent to river Daman Ganga, Swaminarayan temple is known for its architectural beauty.
