Nagaland is a state in northeastern India. The state capital is Kohima and the largest the city is Dimapur.There are 16 inhabitant tribes in this state:- Angami, Ao, Chakhesang, Chang, Kachari, Khiamniungan, Konyak, Kuki, Lotha, Phom, Pochury, Rengma, Sangtam, Sumi, Yimchunger, and Zeme-Liangmai (Zeliang). Each tribe is unique in a character with its own distinct customs, language, and dress. Mount Saramati is that the highest peak at three,840 meters and its range forms a natural barrier between Nagaland and Burma. Nagaland is home to the Bhut Jolokia or ghost pepper, one of the hottest chilis in the world at 855,000 SHU on the Scoville scale. All the tribes of Nagaland have their own cookery, and that they use a great deal of meat, fish, and fermented products in their dishes. Galho is a vegetarian porridge cooked with rice, leaves, and condiments. Drinks include zutho and thutse, beers made with sticky rice.

Kohima War Cemetery:-
Kohima War Cemetery is a memorial dedicated to soldiers of the 2nd British Division of the Allied Forces who died in the Second World War at Kohima, the capital of Nagaland, India, in April 1944. The soldiers died on the battleground of Garrison Hill in the tennis court area of the Deputy Commissioner's residence. According to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission(CWGC), which maintains this cemetery among many others in the world, there are 1,420 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War at this cemetery, and a memorial to an additional 917 Hindu and Sikh soldiers who were cremated in accordance with their faith.The memorial was inaugurated by Field Marshal Sir William Slim, then Commander of the 14th Army in Burma.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Imphal 136.4 km (04-05) hours Journey. Checking in at the hotel, leave to visit Shree Shree Govindajee Temple and state museum. Shree Govindajee temple is an epicentre of the historic Vaishnava culture. The main deities of the temples are Krishna, Radha Govinda, Balram, Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra. After breakfast at the hotel proceed to full day sightseeing tour Visit to Moirang which is 45 km from Imphal. Moirang was the ancient capital of Manipur kingdom and is also the centre of Meithei culture. Here, you can explore the Sadu Chiru waterfall and the Japanese War Memorial built in remembrance of soldiers who fought the Japanese army in World War II. Evening Return back to Imphal for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
