DAMAN is a city in the union territory of DAMAN and DIU, on India’s west coast. In the north, St. Jerome Fort, also known as NANI DAMAN FORT, recalls the area’s Portuguese colonial past. Across the DAMAN GANGA RIVER, MOTI DAMAN FORT holds the ruins of a Dominican monastery, plus the Basilica of Bom Jesus Church, known for its gilt altarpiece. Close by, the Chapel of Our Lady of Rosary features intricate carvings.
Diu is a coastal town at the eastern end of Diu Island, India. A bridge connects the island to the state of Gujarat. Overlooking the Arabian Sea, Diu Fort, 16th-century Portuguese citadel, features a lighthouse and cannons. Inland, centuries-old St. Paul’s Church was built in elaborate baroque style. Nearby, whitewashed St. Thomas Church is now home to the Diu Museum, with wooden carvings & religious artifacts.
On arrival at Mumbai Airport/railway station from there, you will meet and assist by our representative and now you will ready to drive Silvasa (172 Kms 03 – 04 Hrs). On arrival at Silvasa check-in hotel & rest. After that, you will visit Rich Green Forests, Cascading waterfalls and imposing rivers along with a large variety of flora and fauna. In the evening, we will visit Piparia Udyan which is a beautiful place with a manmade park that provides wonderful views of the water park & island of flowers. Dinner & overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will be visiting Silvasa for local sightseeing. We will start at Vasona Lion Safari. This place is a breeding center for lions brought from Gir Forests that you can see in forest-like structure. Then you will visit Silvassa Tribal Museum, Vanganga Lake & Dadra Garden. Located on the main highway that connects Dadra & Silvassa. This lake offers boating facilities and has a beautiful garden & children garden in the compound. After that, you will visit Madhuban Dam, Satmaliya Deer Park. Later come back to the hotel dinner & overnight stay.
After breakfast check out from the hotel &, transfer to daman (30 Km 1 Hrs). On arrival at Daman Check-in hotel & rest. After that, you will visit Moti daman Fort that was constructed in 1559and in imposing structure with 2 gateways and 10 bastions. Later come back to the hotel dinner & overnight stay.
After breakfast, leave for sightseeing, Daman is full of cathedrals, Fort & Churches made in the Portuguese style of architecture. Some of the must-visit places are
Fort Of St. Jerone: is a fort now it ruins, It is made on a Damanganga river & provides a good view of the Arabian Sea.
Jhampore Beach: is a beautiful secluded beach where you can go for water sports activities like parasailing. You can also enjoy a variety of seafood here.
Devka Beach: is the most popular beach in Daman with a lot of crowd and goos eating options. Right next to Devka Beach Mirasol Water park is situated. This place has a beautiful lake & a water park that offers several rides. The lake has boating facilities.
Church Of Bom Jesus: was made in the Portuguese style of architecture that used to be at Parish Church before the Portuguese arrived.
Dominion Monastery: is a popular location among the Catholics who once used to come from all parts of the world to gain knowledge.
After sightseeing the day will be free for leisure at the beach which we will return to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Diu (663 Km 10 – 11 Hrs). On arrival at Diu check-in Hotel & rest. After that, your day will be free for leisure activities at the beach or making on the street side shops. Later come back to the hotel dinner & overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed to Nagona Beach & Ghoghla Beach. The most popular beaches in this area famous for water sports activities like Para Sailing, Wind Surfing, Speed Boat, Jet Skiing, etc. you’ll go for Scuba Diving to experience the marine from close. Scuba Diving in Diu is a wonderful experience it will leave you an experience of a lifetime. Later come back to the hotel dinner & overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will go to Diu Sightseeing. Some of the must-visit places are
Diu Jail: it was built during the Portuguese era and it looks diving amazing the night especially under the full moon.
St. Paul’s Church: This church is dedicated to Lady of immaculate conception. Built-in the 17th Century this is one of the most beautifully designed Portuguese churches in the country.
St. Francis Of Assisi Church: This church is made in style French Architecture.
Jalandhar Beach: It is a very quiet, & isolated beach suitable for swimming & bathing.
Sea Shell Museum: This is only the museum in Asia with around 1500 types of sea Shells on display.
INS Khukri Memorial: This is dedicated to the INS Khukri that sank during the war in 1971 after falling being hit by 3 torpedoes.
After that, you will free for beach activities. Later come back to the hotel dinner & overnight stay.
