Sikkim is the state in northeastern India. It is the borders Tibet in the north & northeast, Bhutan in the east, Nepal in the west, and West Bengal in the south. Sikkim is the also located close to India’s Siliguri Corridor near to Bangladesh. Sikkim is the least of populous & second smallest among the Indian states. The famous Ganesh Tok or Temple is located on a hill in the Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. The Sikkim is not only famous for its amazing natural beauty, but also for various prominent pilgrimage destinations. The whole Sikkim is divided into 4 districts or zones East, West, North and South. East Sikkim is headquartered at Gangtok (also the capital of the state), West Sikkim at Geyzing (also known as Gyalsing) with Pelling and Pemayangtse being the two places of central attractions, North Sikkim is headquartered at Mangan (Lachung with Yumthang Valley and Lachen with Gurudongmar Lake being the two main attractions of the zone) and South Sikkim at the religious & cultural hub Namchi. There are numerous magnificent places to visit in each of these zones. Would you like to go deeper and explore one part of Sikkim at a time and soak in the unique natural beauty, landscapes and lifestyle of each place separately, then you will dig deeper into each zone of Sikkim and know about the various destinations and attractions in each.
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport NJP railway station, you will meet and assist by our representative and drive to Gangtok (120 km 03-04 hrs) (5,500ft.) on arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 km one way from Gangtok city (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.) then visit Nathula pass (Closed on Monday & Tuesday ) overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast check out from hotel Now ready to drive to Lachen (9,400 ft, 118 km). On the way, you can visit the Seven Sister Waterfalls. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on the way (by own cost). Check-in at the hotel in the late afternoon. An overnight stay at the hotel in Lachen.
After breakfast drive towards Gurudongmar Lake (17,000ft). Gurudongmar Lake is the highest situated lake in the North Sikkim. The altitude here is may cause breathing problem so be careful. In the evening back to the hotel and leave for Lachung. Enjoy dinner & overnight stay at Lachung
After breakfast check out from hotel then proceed to Yumthang Valley which is known as Valley of Flowers (12,000 ft. Known as Valley of Flowers) & Zero Point (Closed on Monday & Tuesday ) etc. On the way, you can visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. In the evening transfer to Gangtok. Dinner and overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast at the hotel proceeds to Gangtok (5,500 ft.) visit city tour Flower show, Cottage Industry, and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-Dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls (maximum 3-4 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After Breakfast transfer to Namchi. On arrival at Namchi Proceed to full-day sightseeing tour to Namchi Visit Tendong Hill, Rock Garden, Ngadak Monastery, Baichung Stadium, Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary, Dal Bahadur Statue, Deolo Hill, Macfarlane Memorial Church, Nurseryman's Haven, St. Theresa Catholic Church, Tiger Hill, etc.
In the evening transfer to Pelling (75km02 -03 hrs journey) on arrival at Pelling check-in the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast checkout from hotel then proceed to full-day sightseeing tour to Pelling in West Sikkim (Alt 7175Ft / 2150M). Enjoy the scenic beauty of Rangeet River Valley on the way. On arrival check-in, the hotel take some rest then proceed to sightseeing tour like Darap Village and Valley, Rimbi Waterfalls, Rock Garden, Kunchenjungha Water Falls, and Khecheopalri Holy Lake. After that, you can visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Helipad View Point, Rubduntse Palace Ruins and Bird Sanctuary.
Early Morning ( 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill (8,400 ft.) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. worlds 3rd highest peak) & visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PN Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. In the evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnights stay at the hotel.
After breakfast Check-out from hotel and take the departure transfers to Bagdogra NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & return to home with sweet memories of Sikkim, Darjeeling Gangtok Holidays Tour.
