After breakfast drive to Shonge-tser Lake, Bum La Pass, Tawang Monastery Post today’s breakfast, you will be visiting the stunning Shonga-tser Lake and the Bum La Pass. The lake, which was once the grazing field of the cattle, was formed due to an earthquake and is surrounded by snowy peaks. After the tour of the lake, we will travel to Bum La Pass, which is located at 16,000ft and was used by Dalai Lama to escape from Tibet to India. After these visits, head towards the fascinating Tawang Monastery and seek blessings from the Gods. The largest Buddhist monastery in India and second largest in Asia, it dates back around 400 years and houses about 450 monks.
