After your arrival in Guwahati and post getting checked in to your hotel, the evening time (when the rush is minimal) will consist of visiting one of the most holy centres of pilgrimage in the entire north east, Kamakhya temple, which is one of the 51 Shaktipeeth in India. The timings of this temple is from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Before heading off to your hotel you will be made to experience the calming seas by an entertaining and relaxing cruise boat ride on the beautiful Brahmaputra River.
Your morning time will commence by heading on to the home for one horned rhinoceros, Kaziranga. The entire drive journey will take 5 hours and by the time you reach it will be evening and you will be escorted to your allotted resort at Kaziranga National Park.
In the evening you can opt for a guided tour of the surrounding area, which comprises of neatly set tea gardens and rubber plantations.
Pro tip – make sure to always have a guide for your tours in and around the national park area, since it is easy for you to wander off in an non ventured area.
Your whole day is reserved for two different jeep safaris of the UNESCO world heritage site. Your morning jeep safari will commence in two different parts, one will begin early in the morning, before breakfast. It is vital for you to wake up early in the morning when it will be relatively easier for you to spot animals.
After returning back and having your breakfast you will head out for the next half of your jeep safari, where you will again head out in a different direction, to explore the massive park, which is home to the one horned rhinoceros along with numerous other wildlife populations.
Post lunch, your second jeep safari from a different route will commence where you will be taken across some of the protective areas of tall grasslands and marshlands along with numerous small water bodies.
Tips to follow while visiting the national park:
· Do not be loud, it will scare off the wildlife animals and birds, and lessen your chances of witnessing animals in their natural habitat.
· Do not take anything along with you that may turn into litter. Keep the national park clean.
· Make sure not to play loud music and keep your phones on silent mode. Loud noises will startle the animals.
You will be taken to one of the lesser known jewels of north east, Bhalukpong, which is a small town, nestled amongst the southern reaches of the mighty Himalayas in Arunachal Pradesh. The 2 hours 30 mines journey will take you to a lush green land of high rolling mountains and the calming river sounds. The ideal place is ideal to gain some peace of mind and leave the hustle and stress of the city life behind.
After being immediately checked into your hotel you will be taken for a brief local sightseeing adventure of this mystifyingly charming hamlet, starting with a refreshing visit to Tipi Orchid research centre, which is home to almost 10,000 different species of Orchid flowers.
After a spellbinding visit here, you will be taken for a more adventurous option of rafting in the shimmering Kameng River. You can also opt for fishing in the calm seas making your time here even more unique and fun.

· In order to ensure a safe and secure rafting experience, listen to the instructions of your rafting head carefully and wear your life jacket.
· Do not litter anywhere you go, keep the mountains in their pristine conditions.
Today you will head out to Dirang via Bomdila, which is a charming lush green town set amongst the picturesque green hills of the eastern Himalayas. It is the perfect escape for people looking for some time out from the fast paced life. You will be taken on a visit to some of the most prominent monasteries here along with indulging in fresh apple picking from the apple orchards. A stroll among the unadulterated beauty will definitely rejuvenate your senses. You are also free to take a holy dip in the natural hot water springs of Kalachakra Gompa.
Finally, you will be headed off to your destination of Dirang.
Your morning time will commence with beginning your journey towards the beautiful destination of Tawang, via the Sela Pass, which falls en route. This snow covered pass is located at a whopping elevation of 4,170 metres above sea level.
It will take a lengthy time of 5 hours to reach Tawang. Upon your arrival and post the checking in process, you are free to explore the nearby surroundings of the local areas.
You can buy some souvenirs like woolen shawls, traditional carpets, handcrafted locally produced bags, tribal dresses; you can also try out some of the local delicacies like, zan ( spiced up millet dish), khura (buckwheat pancake), Gyapa Khazi (a traditional rice Pulao including cheese) and so much more. Be sure to explore these market places before sun down since these shops usually shut down in the evening.
Your entire day will be dedicated for you to go for a local sightseeing and hiking of this magnificent hilly paradise. This will start off, with a visit, to the famous and holy, Tawang monastery. It is located at an elevation of 3,000 metres above sea level, giving its visitors a spell bounding view of the surroundings. It also houses a library of sacred writings, scriptures and Buddhist texts.
The next refreshing destination will be the shimmering blue lake of Penga Teng Tso, which is a high altitude lake surrounded on all sides with the snowcapped mountain. You have to trek a small distance from the final motor able road spot.
Your next stop in Tawang will make you come in contact with the local lifestyle of the people residing there, which is the traditional site of Twang craft centre. This centre is run by an all women committee, who work together to create crafts and handloom items like, warm jackets, embroidered clothes, traditional baskets, which represent the true spirit, heritage and culture of Tawang.

· While visiting a Buddhist monastery, make sure to be at your best behavior by not speaking loudly, showing respect to the monks and covering yourself up with appropriate clothing.
· At the lake make sure you do not litter the shore with plastic wrappers and other non-biodegradable items. Do your part and carry a garbage bag along to ensure cleanliness.
You will be driven to Bomdila the next day, which is situated at a height of 8000 feet above sea level. Upon getting checked in to your hotel in Bomdila you will head out for a brief sightseeing of some of the most breathtaking places surrounding the area.
You will witness the grandness and holiness of the majestic Bomdila monastery along with a rejuvenating visit to the apple orchards of Bomdila, before heading back to your hotel.
Your journey towards the place which is also popular as the ‘city of eternal romance’ Tezpur will kick start. After a 5 hour long picturesque journey among the lush green mountains and the unending beauty you will finally arrive at Tezpur.
After checking in your evening time is free for you to try out some local cuisines like, masor tenga (traditional fish curry), aloo pitika, Ouu Khatta and so much more. You can also pick out some local and traditionally made souvenirs.
After having a hearty breakfast you will be headed to the capital of Arunachal Pradesh (land of the rising sun) Itanagar. You will be taken on a whimsical sightseeing tour of this impressive town which will start off with a visit to the ancient 14th century fort known as Ita fort, literally meaning a fort of bricks. The ruins here represent the undying spirit of the tribes of North East India. Marvel at the glory of the mountains and witness the magnificent views form the hill top before heading back to your hotel.
You will be made to leave for the Ziro, which is the land of scenic grandeur while stopping on your way to visit the traditional Nyishi village, where you will be made to experience the village life of the Nyishi tribe. After covering a distance of almost 4 hours you will reach the green land of unparalleled beauty which is also famous for its music festival, Ziro.
In the evening before heading back to your hotel, you will be made to experience the traditional way of life here, which will include interacting with the locals (in a humble manner) who comprise of Apatani tribes with plugged ears and traditional tattoos.
After having breakfast you will be driven to Daporijo, which is located at an elevation of 600 metres and is the home for the Tagin tribes. On your way you will be made to visit the famous Hill Miri tribal village which is one of the most important tribes in North east India. You will be made to interact with the tribe and see how they make a living by producing food and leading a peaceful lifestyle.
Upon arriving at Daporijo and completing you’re checking in procedure, you will be taken for an evening hike of the surrounding places like the holy centre of Meghna Cave Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is also home to some ancient scriptures and carvings on the walls.
Your early morning time will commence with a road trip towards Aalo, which is located at an elevation of 300 metres above sea level. Upon arrival and post checking in, you will be headed off for an excursion of the surrounding villages where you will get an opportunity to interact with the local tribes here like Adi tribe. You will take a peek into their daily life and chores.
You will also be made to visit the famous Kamki hydropower dam, which is built on Siyom River and produces hydroelectricity. It is also a major tourist site where people go to spend some quality time with their loved ones. During night time the entire dam is illuminated and it is a spectacle to behold.
Before heading off to your hotel at night you will be taken for a tour to one of the most unique farms in India, which is Mithun and Jersey cross breeding farm where you will get a chance to learn more about the importance of proper maintenance for Cattles.
You will be leaving for Pasighat in the morning, which is the oldest town in Arunachal Pradesh. Once you arrive in Pasighat you will be checked into your hotel and in the afternoon you will be taken for a sightseeing tour of the area. You will be made to visit Daying Ering memorial wildlife sanctuary, where you will be taken to via a cruise (it is the only way of reaching there). This prime destination for eco-tourism, this wildlife sanctuary houses various flora, fauna and migratory birds. You will be spending your day there amongst nature and wildlife.
After visiting this series of river islands your day will finally come to an end.
Today you will head on towards the beautiful final site of Dibrugarh via an exciting ferry ride. This ride will last for 5 hours where you will be taken across the mighty River Brahmaputra. Once you arrive at your destination you will be checked in comfortably and your entire evening will be free for you to explore the local nearby places.
On the final day of your stay you will be transferred to Dibrugarh from where your journey to your onward destination will commence, hence ending your trip.
