Arunachal Pradesh is one of the 28 states of India and is the northeastern-most state of the country. Arunachal Pradesh borders the states of an Assam and Nagaland to the south and shares international borders with Bhutan in the west, Myanmar in the east and is separated from a China in the north by the McMahon Line.
On arrival at Dibrugarh Airport /railways station you will be met by our representative and transferred to the Hotel/Heritage Tea Bungalow. Afternoon visit the Jagannath Temple and Dibrugarh town. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel at Bungalow.
Today morning, visit a lush green tea garden and a tea factory to see firsthand the manufacturing of Assam Tea. Also enjoy a session of tea tasting.
After lunch drive to the Nam-Phake village at Naharkatia (3 hours) where a community named Tai-Phake resides. It is said that about 1000 years back this community moved from Northern Thailand and settled down here. The unique thing about this community is that they still retain their old customs, Buddhist religion and some very rare old manuscripts. Visit the Buddhist Monastery and stroll through the village to view the lifestyle of the Tai Phake people.
After breakfast check out from the hotel drive to Namsai (3 hrs). Check-in at the resort and have lunch. After that you can visit the Golden Pagoda of Namsai. The Pagoda is perched beautifully on top of a hill on the banks of a river overlooking the Eastern Himalayan mountains. The Khamptis are Buddhists. in the evening come back to hotel Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Namsai to Roing (6 hrs) visiting Parshuram Kund and Tezu route. there is Parshuram Kund located in the scenic Dibang valley is a natural water body fed by the Lohit river. It is an important place as per Hindu mythology with beliefs that one can wash away their sins by bathing in this Kund. Thousands of pilgrims visit this place every year. Drive through the picturesque town of Tezu. On arrival check-in at the camp in Roing dinner and overnight stay.
After Delicious breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Myodia pass(56 km) at the Indo China border. Enjoy the panoramic views of the eastern Himalayas snowclad peaks. Mayodia receives ample snowfall starting from the month of November till February/March. Back to Roing and overnight at the camp.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and Drive back to Dibrugarh. See the Oil museum in Digboi. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
