Explore Chandigarh, Amritsar is a city in the northwestern Indian state of Punjab, 28 kilometers from the border with Pakistan. At the center of its walled old town, the gilded Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) is the holiest gurdwara (religious complex) of the Sikh religion. It’s at the end of a causeway, surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar tank (lake), where pilgrims bathe. Along the way, enjoy the ropeway ride at Timber Trail and check out aarti on the banks of River Ganges at Haridwar and Rishikesh.
On arrival at Delhi, airport/railway station meets and greets by our representative and drive to Amritsar, check-in to the hotel. After some rest, take an excursion to the India-Pakistan Wagah Border to witness the highly entertaining ceremony performed by an army contingents from both countries. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, visit the majestic Golden Temple, the most sacred to the Sikhs, and see rituals being performed in its serene environment. Enjoy lunch at one of the city's street restaurants. In the late evening, visit the Jaliwala Bagh and the Durgiana Temple. Back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast drive Amritsar to Rishikesh (441km/05 Hours) reach Rishikesh. Check-into the hotel, dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast takes an excursion to Haridwar. Visit the Mansa Devi Temple, Daksh Mahadev Temple, and Sapt Rishi Temple. In the evening witness aarti at Har-Ki-Pauri on the banks of the Ganges. Return to your hotel at Rishikesh. Back to the hotel for Dinner and Overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel our representative will meet you and now ready drive to Delhi (235 km 06 hours journey) on arrival at Delhi Airport/ Railway station to catch onwards your train & return to the home with sweet memories of Amritsar & Rishikesh Tour.
