Overview

The Andaman Islands are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. These roughly 300 islands are known for their palm-lined, white-sand beaches, mangroves and tropical rainforests. Coral reefs supporting marine life such as sharks and rays make for popular diving and snorkeling sites. Indigenous Andaman Islanders inhabit the more remote islands, many of which are off-limits to visitors. There are 572 islands in the territory having an area of 8,249 km2 (3,185 sq mi). Of these, about 38 are permanently inhabited. The islands extend from 6° to 14° North latitudes and from 92° to 94° East longitudes. The Andamans are separated from the Nicobar group by a channel (the Ten Degree Channel) some 150 km (93 mi) wide. The highest point is located in North Andaman Island (Saddle Peak at 732 m (2,402 ft)). The Andaman group has 325 islands which cover an area of 6,170 km2 (2,382 sq mi) while the Nicobar group has only 247 islands with an area of 1,765 km2 (681 sq mi). The Andaman Islands are home to the Sentinelese people, an uncontacted people. The Sentinelese are the only people currently known to not have reached further than a Paleolithic level of technology.

Kadamtala is a village in the southwest part of Middle Andaman Island, Andaman Archipelago. Its postal (PIN) code is 744209. Administratively, it belongs to the Rangat tehsil (county), North and Middle Andaman district, Andaman and Nicobar Islands territory of India.

Kadamtala is located about 24 km southwest of Rangat and 77 km north of Port Blair (straight line). It lies on the Great Andaman Trunk Road and has access to the sea through a winding tidal channel that opens into Homfrey’s Strait.

Day 01: Port – Blair Arrival

On arrival at the Port Blair Airport you will be meet and greet by our repsenatative and move to hotel. After check-in at the hotel and little relax. After Lunch, the tour start the breathtaking trip to CARBYN’S COVE BEACH - one of the most picturesque, coconut palm fringed beach, 7 kms away from Port Blair town is an idle for Swimming and Sun-Basking. . This located in the unspoiled seashore close proximity to Water Sports Complex and local inhabitants and the visiting tourists use this park for spending their valuable evenings by enjoying in the nature's gifts of pristine beauty and stunning sea waves and lush green vegetations. Evening the move towards to view the history of the heroic freedom struggle which is brought alive in a moving LIGHT & SOUND SHOW at the Cellular Jail and then move to MARINA PARK .Dinner & overnight stay at your respective Hotel/Resort at Port Blair.

Day 02 : Kadamtala Sightseeing

Today after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Kadamtala (120km, 03-04 hour journey). It is a Village in Rangat Tehsil in North And Middle Andaman District of Andaman & Nicobar Islands State . Kadamtala is surrounded by Mayabunder Tehsil towards North , South Andamans Tehsil towards South , Ferrargunj Tehsil towards South , Little Andaman Tehsil towards South . Port Blair , Paradip , Puri , Jagatsinghapur,Lord Shiva Temple, Mosque are the nearby Cities to Kadamtala. It is situated in Andaman Great Trunk Road and have access to the sea through a winding tidal channel that opens into Homfrey's Strait. You can enjoy the cycling at the trun road. It is near to Bay of Bengal. Later came back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Kadamtala Hotel.

Day 03 : Port Blair - Departure

After breakfast check- Out from hotel, and , our representative will drop you at airport/railway station to catch forwards your flight & come back to home with Sweet reminiscences of and Beautiful Andaman - Kadamtala Village Trip.
