Overview

Punjab, the land of five rivers and astounding cultural history is located in the northwest of India. Popularly referred to as the “Granary of India”, it is the second-largest producer of major agricultural products in the country. Punjab is renowned for its sports and hosiery goods industry. It is one of the most prosperous states of India in terms of infrastructure and per capita income. The charming cities and towns of Punjab are dotted with numerous ancient monuments, Gurudwara, temples, ashrams, serene lakes, sacred shrines, museums, and wildlife sanctuaries, which are home to many rare species of animals and migratory birds.

Punjab tourism department has taken several initiatives to encourage the promotion and growth of tourism in Punjab. The major cities of Punjab, which include Amritsar, Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Ropar, Bhatinda, Pathankot, Muktsar, Hoshiarpur, Fatehgarh Sahib, Patiala, and Kapurthala, have been developed as prime tourist circuits by Punjab Tourism.

Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi

Morning arrives (10:00 Hrs)at Delhi Railway Station/Airport, After a traditional Welcome from our representative, we would assist you at the airport /Railway station and transfer to the hotel for hotel Check-in. After Fresh up visit Delhi the capital of India which bridges two different worlds, Old Delhi and New Delhi. Sightseeing includes Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ) Also, drive past Connaught Place shopping center. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 2: Delhi-Chandigarh

After breakfast proceed to Chandigarh (244 Km/ 4 Hrs), Arrive at Chandigarh Transfer to the hotel and check-in. After fresh- up in hotel visit to Sukhna Lake, Rose Garden, Chabad Chidi It’s a beautiful historical place in Sikh history. Built-in the memory of battle Chapad Chidi. Baba Banda Singh bahadurs were victory over Sir Hind. Overnight stay at Chandigarh.

Day 3: Chandigarh - Anandpur Sahib - Amritsar

After breakfast proceed to Amritsar via Anandpur Sahib ( 268 Km/ 6 Hrs) visit En-route Historical Places like Qila Lohgarh (fort of steel), Qila Anandgarh (fort of bliss) Arrive at Anandpur Sahib Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 4: Amritsar

After Breakfast visit to Golden Temple (Sikh Temple), Jallianwala Bagh, Local Market for shopping and after lunch proceeds to Wagah Border, Back to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Amritsar – Kapurthala - Jalandhar

After Breakfast proceed to Jalandhar via Kapurthala (100 Km/ 2 Hrs), visit En-route Historical Places like Jagatjit Palace is a remarkable building situated in Kapurthala in Punjab. It was the erstwhile palace of Maharaja Jagatjit Singh and was modeled after the Versailles Palace. Presently, the Jagatjit Palace is managed by the Defense Ministry and Kapurthala Sainik School functions, Transfer to Jalandhar hotel and check-in. After a fresh up drive to nakodar visit Tomb of Haji Jamal is close to the tomb of Muhammed Momin. This tomb was raised over the mortal remains of Haji Jamal, a pupil of Ustad Muhammed Husseini, the tambura player, towards the close of Emperor Shah Jahan’sregin. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Jalandhar - Patiala

After Breakfast proceed to Patiala (154 Km/ 3 Hrs), check-in at your pre-booked hotel. After fresh up visit Bhadurgarh Fort 6 km from Patiala, initially founded by Nawab Saif Khan in 1658. It has two circular ramparts and is surrounded by a moat and covers an area of 2100 sq. meters, the construction of the Qila Mubarak in the year 1763. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Patiala – Delhi

After Breakfast check-out from the hotel & drive back to Delhi (270 km / 5 hour), upon arrival in Delhi transfer to railway station/airport for your onward journey with memories of a lifetime trip.
