Arunachal Pradesh is one of the 28 states of India and is the northeastern-most state of the country. Arunachal Pradesh borders the states of an Assam and Nagaland to the south and shares international borders with Bhutan in the west, Myanmar in the east and is separated from a China in the north by the McMahon Line.

After Breakfast drive to Madhuri Lake .Madhuri Lake is a 'Must See' place for someone visiting Tawang. One can hire a tourist taxi from Tawang to reach this place and there are also share taxis available. It is an about one and a half-hour journey from Tawang through the narrow criss-cross roads going uphill. The lake is located about 12000 feet above sea level. The lake is originally named as Sangestar Tso Lake, which is on the way from Tawang to Bum La Pass. The Madhuri Lake was formed as a result of an earthquake many years ago and the water body here is crystal clear and turns bluish by reflecting the color blue sky. One can also see the numerous dead tree trunks emerging from the water surface, which were once alive before the earthquake. One can stroll around Madhuri Lake with the family to enjoy the beauty of nature around. However, an important thing to consider while visiting this place is to carry on food as it is difficult to get something to eat and drink at this place. Overnight Stay in Hotel.
