The Maldives is a small country in South Asia and is located in the Arabian Sea of the Indian Ocean. Malé is the capital of the country and is traditionally called the ``King's Island`` for its central location. It consists of about 1,200 small coral islands and sandbanks, grouped in clusters or atolls. Tourism has an important role in its growth. The places were unknown to tourists till the 1970’s. After that, the place has started growing. There are 185 islands in the country which are home to its 447,137 inhabitants. The other islands are used entirely for economic purposes i.e. for tourism and agriculture. The place is popular among couples who want to spend a great time with their partner.
