Madhya Pradesh has also known as the ``Heart of India' not only because of its location on the map but also because of the many things it offers. It has been home to the cultural and spiritual heritage of almost all the religions. The state is home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites namely Sanchi, Bhimbetka and Khajuraho. The state has everything- mighty mountain ranges, meandering rivers, and miles of verdant forest. Exquisitely carved temples, Stupas, forts, and palaces on hilltops, raise in the visitors mind visions of empires and kingdoms, of the great warriors and builders, poets and musicians, saints and philosophers; of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. The land has been home to many famous poets like Kalidasa.
