Overview

Aizawl This is the largest city in the state. It is the seat of a rich tribal cultural extravaganza and is famous for its handicrafts and Aizawl is also the center of administration containing all the important government offices, state assembly houses, and civil secretariat. There is a population of Aizawl strongly reflects the different communities of the ethnic Mizo people.

Dampa wildlife sanctuary is famous for its Jungle Safari. A part of the Safaris includes takin detours in the deep, dense woods of the reserve. There is the wildlife safari in Dampa, you can spot the royal cats including leopards and tigers. A Very large variety of deer and bears are a common sight around the national park.

Itinerary

Arrival at Aizwal

On Arrival Aizawl, head straight to Mizoram’s largest church, Solomon's Temple. The church’s architecture, the backdrop of the hills and the peaceful environs make this place one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. Built by the religious group Kohhran Thianghlim, the structure takes inspiration from Solomon’s Temple of Jerusalem and was opened to the public very recently in 2017. In the evening, head to the flea market of Bara Bazar to shop for souvenirs and handicrafts. A vibrant market is also a great place for you to understand the culture of the city, and to meet and greet locals. People from nearby villages and tribes flock to the market with their traditional wicker baskets to sell a wide range of local delights. While you are here, don’t forget to stop at one of the many eateries to try out the authentic cuisine, comprising of Koat Pitha (fried fritters made of rice flour, jaggery and bananas), Misa Mach Poora (a shrimp preparation) and Chhum Han or Bai (made of steamed vegetables/pork and had along with rice). Aizawl - Tamdil Lake - Aizawl

After breakfast, take a drive to Tamdil through a wonderful landscape. Enjoy your day with boat ride. Evening return back for shopping at Bara Bazaar. Overnight at Aizawl.

Aizwal - D G Park – Rungdil (139 km 05-06 hours)

After Breakfast, we will be driven to DG Park and Rungdil

DG Park:- D G Park is one of the most popular recreational parks in Mizoram and is situated on the outskirts of Aizawl over a hill. It is a favored place to enjoy a picnic on a pleasant day with family and friends.

Rungdil:- This town is blessed with exotic natural beauty and this place is famous for its handicrafts. The river is Tlawng flows quietly on the east and on the north side is the hills of Durtlang.

Return the hotel and overnight stay in the Hotel.

Aizwal - Infinite Ainawn Park - Tuirihiau falls ( 3 h 36 min 110 km)

After Breakfast, we will be visiting the infinite Ainawn park and Tuirihiau park.

Infinite Ainawn Park:- Being the first of its kind, Infinite Ainawn Park is highly recommended for tourists as well as locals alike as it offers an escape from city life. The rides, huts, and pool are some of the attractions which make this place wonderful to visit at any time of the year and for people of any age groups.

Tuirihiau falls:- Tuirihiau Falls Khawhthla or Tuirihiau Falls Falls is the most spectacular of all the waterfalls and cascades in the fast-flowing rivers of Mizoram. The uniqueness of this waterfall is that you see from behind as it caves in behind the fall like an arc.

Aizawl – Champai (188 km 07-08 Hours)

Post breakfast, drive to Champai. This town is located on the Indo-Myanmar border. After check-in the hotel and take pleasure in the natural setting of the place and enjoy the enchanting view of the Bilauktaung Range of Burma. Take leisure walks down the streets. Return to your hotel in Champai for an overnight stay.

Champai to Murlen National Park ( 50 Km 02-03 hours)

After Breakfast drive to Murlen national park. Murlen National Park is a national park in the Champhai district Mizoram in India. The size of the parking area is 200 km². It lies north of Lengteng Wildlife Sanctuary in the same district. Return to the Champai and Overnight stay in the Champai Hotel.

Champai – Aizwal -Dampa Tiger Reserve-Solomon's Temple, Aizawl

After breakfast, we will be visiting Dampa Tiger reserve and in the evening we will be visit Solomon's Temple, Aizawl

Dampa Tiger reserve:- Dampa wildlife sanctuary is famous for its Jungle Safari. wildlife safari in Dampa, you can spot the royal cats, leopards, and tigers. A large park of deer and bears are a common sight around the national park.

solomon’s Temple, Aizawl:- Solomon's Temple is the biggest church in Mizoram state in India. This is constructed and maintained by Kohhran Thianghlim (The Holy Church). It is at Kidron Valley, Chawlhhmun, Aizawl, Mizoram.
