Overview

Aizawl This is the largest city in the state. It is the seat of a rich tribal cultural extravaganza and is famous for its handicrafts and Aizawl is also the center of administration containing all the important government offices, state assembly houses, and civil secretariat. There is a population of Aizawl strongly reflects the different communities of the ethnic Mizo people.

Infinite Ainawn Park- Though the park is overall good in terms of its infrastructure and offerings, I did not enjoy it much due to the high price of the tickets of water-rides and also due to the sultry weather inside. One of the best places for kids and teenagers. There is a water park with a few fun games.

Itinerary

Arrival at Aizwal

On Arrival Aizawl, head straight to Mizoram’s largest church, Solomon's Temple. The church’s architecture, the backdrop of the hills and the peaceful environs make this place one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. Built by the religious group Kohhran Thianghlim, the structure takes inspiration from Solomon’s Temple of Jerusalem and was opened to the public very recently in 2017. In the evening, head to the flea market of Bara Bazar to shop for souvenirs and handicrafts. A vibrant market is also a great place for you to understand the culture of the city, and to meet and greet locals. People from nearby villages and tribes flock to the market with their traditional wicker baskets to sell a wide range of local delights. While you are here, don’t forget to stop at one of the many eateries to try out the authentic cuisine, comprising of Koat Pitha (fried fritters made of rice flour, jaggery and bananas), Misa Mach Poora (a shrimp preparation) and Chhum Han or Bai (made of steamed vegetables/pork and had along with rice). Aizwal - D G Park -Rungdil(139 km 05-06 hours)

After Breakfast, we will be driven to DG Park and rungdil

DG Park:- D G Park is one of the most popular recreational parks in Mizoram and is situated on the outskirts of Aizawl over a hill. It is a favored place to enjoy a picnic on a pleasant day with family and friends.

This town is blessed with exotic natural beauty and this place is famous for its handicrafts. The river is Tlawng flows quietly on the east and on the north side is the hills of Durtlang.

Aizwal - Infinite Ainawn Park - Tuirihiau falls ( 3 h 36 min 110 km)

After Breakfast, we will be visiting the infinite Ainawn park and Tuirihiau park.

Infinite Ainawn Park:- Being the first of its kind, Infinite Ainawn Park is highly recommended for tourists as well as locals alike as it offers an escape from city life. The rides, huts, and pool are some of the attractions which make this place wonderful to visit at any time of the year and for people of any age groups.

Tuirihiau falls:- Tuirihiau Falls Khawhthla or Tuirihiau Falls Falls is the most spectacular of all the waterfalls and cascades in the fast-flowing rivers of Mizoram. It is located in the Vanva river near Thenzawl. The uniqueness of this waterfall is that you see from behind as it caves in behind the fall like an arc.

Aizwal to Sibuta Lung - K.V.Paradise (23.3 km 01-02 hours journey)

After breakfast, we will be visiting sibuta lung and K.V Paradise.

Sibuta Lung:- Sibuta Lung was raised by a Palian chief about 300 years ago. It is said that a young orphan, Sibuta, was adopted by the chief. Sibuta killed his adoptive father and became the chief of over 2,000 houses.

KV Paradise:- A monument of Love. KV Paradise is the Modern Taj Mahal on Aizawl. This is a monument that speaks of a man's love for his wife who died in a car accident. ... Like most houses in Aizawl, the mausoleum stands on the steep face of a hill.

Aziwal to lawngtlai (8 h 45 min 245 km)

After Breakfast, we will be Transfer to Lawngtlai. Check in to the Hotel. And overnight stay in the Lawngtlai hotel.

Lawngtlai Overview. Lawngtlai is one of the eight administrative districts in the Indian state of Mizoram. ... The headquarters of the Lai Autonomous District Council is based at Lawngtlai. The headquarters of the Chakma Autonomous District Council is at Chawngte.

Lawngtlai to Lohawka Wildlife Santuary

After Breakfast, you will be visiting Lohawka wildlife sanctuary. Evening time is your Leisure time Return the Hotel and overnight stay in the Lawnglai Hotel.

Lohawka Wildlife Sanctuary:- Lohawka Wildlife Sanctuary is known for its forests and rich wildlife animals like sambar, slow more is, leopards, barking deer, tiger, monkeys and so on. This sanctuary is about 400 km from Aizawl and 85 km from Lawngtlai. Travelers can also see tropical semi-evergreen forests with a large variety of birds.

Lawngtlai to Aziwal

Early morning, post breakfast, get transferred Aizawl Airport, catch a flight for your onward journey.
