Aizawl This is the largest city in the state. It is the seat of a rich tribal cultural extravaganza and is famous for its handicrafts and Aizawl is also the center of administration containing all the important government offices, state assembly houses, and civil secretariat. There is a population of Aizawl strongly reflects the different communities of the ethnic Mizo people.
Dampa Tiger Reserve is a splendid Wildlife Sanctuary, is located amidst the deep and dense forests of Mizoram in India. The forests are located about 125 kilometers from Aizawl and are rich with a variety of flora and fauna that draw tourists and nature lovers to the North-eastern state of India from all parts of the world. The name of Dampa was derived from the lonely bachelors (Dam Pa meaning Lonely Men) left in the region after the passing of a majority of the female population.
On arrival at Aizawl airport, meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. An
overnight stay at the hotel and Mizoram is covered with verdant forests dominated by
thick bamboo groves, teeming with vibrant wildlife, sheer cliffs, and breath-taking
waterfalls. Mizoram is a land of dramatic seas of morning mists that enfold islands of
hills and peaks.
After breakfast, we will be visiting Dampa Tiger reserve and in the evening we will visit Solomon's Temple, Aizawl
Dampa Tiger reserve:- Dampa wildlife sanctuary is famous for its Jungle Safari. A part of the Safaris includes takin detours in the deep, dense woods of the reserve. wildlife safari in Dampa, you can spot the royal cats, leopards, and tigers. A large park of deer and bears are a common sight around the national park.
Return the hotel and overnight stay in the Aizwal hotel.
solomon’s Temple, Aizawl:- Solomon's Temple is the biggest church in Mizoram state in India. This is constructed and maintained by Kohhran Thianghlim (The Holy Church). It is at Kidron Valley, Chawlhhmun, Aizawl, Mizoram.
Check out Aizawl for Hmuifang after breakfast.. Lunch at Hmuifang Tourist Resort. Visit sightseeing Hmuifang Mountains and Vantawng Waterfalls at Thenzawl which is Mizoram’s highest waterfall. Return to Aizawl for dinner and overnight at Chaltlang Tourist Lodge.
After breakfast visit the sightseeing State Museum at Mc Donald Hill. Visit various Handlooms and Handicrafts centers. Lunch at Hotel Regency. Visit sightseeing ATC, Durtlang for a view of Aizawl City. Proceed to Beraw Tlang Tourist Centre for dinner. Overnight at Chaltlang Tourist Lodge.
Early morning, post breakfast, get transferred Aizawl Airport, catch a flight for your onward journey.
