Punjab, the land of five rivers and astounding cultural history is located in the north west of India. It is one of the most prosperous states of India in terms of infrastructure and per capita income. The charming cities and towns of Punjab are dotted with numerous ancient monuments, Gurudwara, temples, ashrams, serene lakes, sacred shrines, museums, and wildlife sanctuaries, which are home to many rare species of animals and migratory birds.
In order to popularize the rich art and culture of Punjab, the Department of Tourism Punjab organizes folk shows and cultural programs every year, which draw a large number of domestic and international tourists. Punjab tourism also puts in a lot of effort to promote the traditional and local handicrafts, handlooms and cuisine of Punjab.
Arrive in Patiala check-in and in the evening go to see the Kali Mata temple and Gurudwara Dukh Nivaran back to Hotel for Overnight stay.
After Breakfast proceed to visit Sheesh Mahal, Medal Gallery and Botanical garden, visit NIS and Sports Museum there, Kila Mubarak in the heart of the city where you see the chandelier museum art gallery and Kila Anderson. After that lunch In the evening walk in the Bazaar to see the Phulkari Juti and Parandha and Patiala Salwaar. Overnight stay in Patiala.
After breakfast at the hotel check out and drive to Amritsar (232km 04 hours journey) on arrival proceed to ‘Wagha Border’ to see ‘Parade and Salami’. Evening return back to Amritsar and visit ‘Golden Temple’ dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive to Amritsar airport/Railway station to take the flight to your onward destination.
