Diu is a coastal town at the eastern end of Diu Island, India. A bridge connects the island to the state of Gujarat. Overlooking the Arabian Sea, Diu Fort, 16th-century Portuguese citadel, features a lighthouse and cannons. Inland, centuries-old St. Paul’s Church was built in elaborate baroque style. Nearby, whitewashed St. Thomas Church is now home to the Diu Museum, with wooden carvings & religious artifacts.
On arrival at Rajkot Airport/railway station from there, you will meet and assist by our representative and now you will ready to drive to Diu (237 km, 05 - 06-hour journey). Traveling to Diu is very exciting as it covers a few popular travel destinations on the way on arrival at Diu check in to hotel & rest. After that, you will be visiting the INS Khukri Memorial. The victims of a sunk navy ship at INS Khukri Memorial, the only worship lost by the Indian Navy during the war, or just enjoy the breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset. Then you visit Ganeshwar Temple, Hokka Trees & Nagoa Beach. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, you will be visiting Naida Caves, Ghogla Beach. The serenity and the soft white sand of Ghogla Beach combined with the views of the sea and the touch of the warm water make a great reason to visit the site. Then you visit Fortim-do-Mar. After completing all sightseeing back to hotel dinner & overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will proceed to Chakratirth Beach, Jallandhar Beach, Diu Fort. Diu Fort discovers the rich history of a colonial-era structure built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. Known for its fine ocean views, the fort sits on the coast of Diu Island and is separated by a tidal creek from the mainland. Then you visit St. Paul's Church. Marvel at intricately carved walls and light a candle at St. Paul's Church, a mesmerizing colonial-style Portuguese church. Completed in 1610 by Jesuits and reconstructed in 1807. In evening come back to the hotel dinner & overnight stay.
After breakfast check out from the hotel & drive to Rajkot(237 Kms 05 – 06 Hrs) airport/railway station to catch onwards your flight & return home with Sweet memories of Diu Holiday Tour.
